Ceilidh

This is an evening of relaxation and fun. Time for smallpipes and all the ceilidh instruments with Jack & Andrew.

Mon Feb 17

Polar Plunge

You've worked hard. There is no better way to end your Maui bagpipe journey than entering the ocean, hand-in-hand with your classmates and instructors. A tradition started by piper Mr. John Visentin of B.C., Canada in 2013. We gather to pipe the sundown at Kamaole Beach II in Kihei on the south shore. Then ceremoniously toss some “icebergs” (ice cubes) into the water just before diving in the ocean. Now that’s a comfy“polar bear plunge” - because this is Maui and why not?
